Does SOAP support attachments with JDK1.3

I want to uplaod an zip file as an attachment .Is is possible
with JDK1.3 version.or what are system and software requirement.

Apache SOAP can send and receive MIME attachments, so it could be used to upload a zip file if the service supports MIME attachments.
